St. Anthony
On his Jan. 17 feast day, both Eastern and Western Catholics celebrate the life and legacy of St. Anthony of Egypt, the founder of Christian monasticism whose radical approach to discipleship permanently impacted the Church. Tobi 22 in the Coptic calendar.

The Relics of Saint Anthony the Great reached to the Hospital Brothers of St. Anthony (who specialized in nursing the victims of skin diseases), founded in 1095 as the result of miraculous cures from St. Anthony's Fire ascribed to the relics.
