The animals in the Ark

The generic verse in Genesis 6:19 commanded Noah to gather two of every species of animals into the ark. However the detailed verse in Genesis 7:2 explained that they attained two of every unclean animal and seven of every clean animal.

& "Of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark" (Genesis 6:19).
& "You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female" (Genesis 7:2).
