Nature of God
Blog 2Nobody can limit the nature of God to words. Therefore, one can better refer to God by all the features and attributes that do not describe Him as He truly is but as the Bible (word of God) explained Him to be.
Most of the believers of all religions, throughout all of the ages, believe that God is the most powerful entity who possesses infinity in His hand (timeless). He is present in every place, and His nature and thoughts differ from all the human thoughts. "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord" (Isaiah 55:8).
God is not an unknown power nor is He impersonal almighty entity. On the contrast, He is a person who interferes with the history of His creations to guide and take care of them, because without Him, they cannot attain true happiness.
On one hand, God does not submit to time because He is out of our definition of time (Past, Present, and Future). On the other hand, from our point of view, we picture Him to be limited by time because we can say that in the year 1000 BCE, He interfered to help David "the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward" (1 Samuel 16:13).
God submits to time for our sake in order to deal with us since we are under the control of time. However, in His essence and nature, He is above time.
