O, only pleasure of my soul? Where do You hide, O God of beauty

“The perfection of beauty, God will shine forth” (Psalm 50:2)

O ultimate goal of all my ambitions.Your odor, which I breathe, intoxicates me with Life and I am stunned! Even though I have not seen You as yet, this happens to me for it is written

“No man shall see me and live” (Exod. 33:20)

Well, if I follow this warning, I will not see You. Yet, let me die, O God, and see You. Let me see You before I die. For when I wish to live, I wish to die.

“Having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better” (Phil 1:23)

I desire death that I might see You.

“They shall see His face” (Rev 22:4)
